Lana Del Rey (formerly known as Lizzy Grant) has written songs with Scottish singer songwriter David Sneddon and his writing partner, James Bauer-Mein as The Nexus. They have also written for and produced other emerging artists such as Hurts and Matt Cardle. Lana Del Rey built up a huge following on YouTube in 2011 with her song ‘Video Games’ and she was tipped for big things in 2012. She has appeared on the BBCs ‘Later With Jools Holland’ and she is on the cover of Q magazine January 2012.

I’ve been following Scottish singer songwriter David Sneddon’s career since he was on a tv show in 2002 where he was a true talent. In 2006 he played small venue gigs and I have reviews posted here on the blog from 2007, and I have spoken with David on several occasions. My ear for music has never failed me yet! I grew up playing music and my children all studied music. In recent years David has worked as a songwriter for other artists in London. It validates my belief to read of his recent successes.
